Rights & Release
We ask for model and copyright release forms to protect everyone involved: the model, photographer, creative team, and publication. You keep copyright. Boudoir Inspiration receives non-exclusive permission to publish accepted images in the magazine, website, digital channels, and related promotion.

General Submission Guidelines
Boudoir Inspiration accepts high-quality boudoir photography that showcases artistic and tasteful representations of intimate and personal moments.
We are open to a variety of themes and concepts as long as they align with the boudoir style and aesthetic. Each issue may have specific themes, which will be announced in advance.
Submission fees vary. Options include Standard Submission (free), Priority Review (response in 2 days), Priority Tear Sheets & Publishing (tear sheets and online publishing within 5 days), Priority Publishing and Interview, and Front and Back Cover Upgrades. Check the details on each call for entries for prices and what is included in the tiers.
Submissions are made through the Kavyar platform. You will need to create an account, fill out the submission form (which includes title, description, contributor and wardrobe credits), and upload your images.
Typically you can submit between 6 to 30 images per submission. Please check the specific guidelines for each call for entries.
Generally, we prefer unpublished work, but exceptions can be made. We'll appreciate if you indicate whether the work has been published elsewhere when submitting.
Submissions should include high-quality images (details in technical requirements section), signed model release and photo copyright release forms (details in release forms sections). If available, include wardrobe information and credits for everyone involved in the project, such as makeup artists and stylists, with their Instagram handles. For privacy concerns, you can ask to be published with alias names; please state this in your submission.
Technical Requirements
Images should be in JPG format, sRGB color profile, and at least 300 DPI. Accepted sizes are 8.5 × 11 inches (2550 × 3300 px) for portrait and 17 × 11 inches (5100 × 3300 px) for landscape.
We accept both color and black-and-white images. Choose the format that best represents your artistic vision. Please add only color or only black and white images in your single submission if you do not have a specific concept mixing them together.
Yes, we accept both digital and film photography, as long as the final images meet our technical specifications.

Editorial Process
For standard submissions, we usually finish evaulating all submissions by the end of the submissions period within a month. For Priority Review submissions, it takes 2 days to receive a response.
We evaluate submissions based on artistic quality, originality, technical proficiency, and alignment with the boudoir theme.
We usually do not provide feedback by default but if you specifically ask for feedback, our team of editors will provide a response. If you select "Priority Review" and ask for a feedback, a detailed feedback will be provided.
Yes, you can edit or update your submission through the Kavyar platform as long as it is before the submission deadline.
Usage and Rights
We require non-exclusive publication rights, which means you retain copyright but grant us the right to publish the images in our print magazine, digital channels and promotional materials.

Acceptance and Publication
You will be notified via email through the Kavyar platform if your work is accepted for publication.

Yes, you are encouraged to promote your published work on your personal social media and website. Please credit Boudoir Inspiration magazine when doing so.

To submit your work through Kavyar, create an account, fill out the submission form for Boudoir Inspiration, and upload your images along with any required documents.
You can edit your submission by logging into your Kavyar account, navigating to your submissions, and selecting the edit option for the desired submission.
You can message us directly through the Kavyar platform by using the messaging feature available on your submission dashboard.
To cancel a submission, log into your Kavyar account, navigate to your submissions, and select the cancel option for the submission you wish to withdraw.

Yes, we accept video and multimedia submissions, which we publish on our social media and website. Please contact us directly to discuss possibilities. We do also encourage you to add multimedia and videos (such as backstage videos) to your photography submissions.
