As a boudoir photographer, you train and learn and prepare for the gear, the light, the wardrobe, the poses, the expression, the set, the editing, all those things that factor into getting the perfect shot. But nothing prepares you for the reaction. That moment when she sees her images. It is incredibly emotional and pure, the moment when she sees herself though your lens, a perfect, sexy, powerful goddess. And it is absolutely magnificent. You will get hugs and thanks, she will even cry because she never thought she is this beautiful. Probably my favorite is hearing she came in to get some shots for her partner but loved the experience and it was just as much a gift for her. There is nothing quite like your job being to remind women how gorgeous they are.
